The Data Sciences Institute is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the University of Toronto-University of Illinois System Joint Call for Proposals. This initiative aims to foster collaborative education and research projects through the University of Toronto and the University of Illinois System providing matching seed funds to support innovative partnerships. U of T is committed to the positive impact that universities can have through international partnerships.

Through this Call, DSI is championing new or existing collaborations:

• Data science: collecting, manipulating, storing, visualizing, learning from, and extracting useful information from data in a reproducible, fair and ethical way.

The funding envelope is $55,000 USD from the University of Illinois and $75,000 CAD from U of T.
