The DSI hosts events and workshops every month, it can be hard to keep up. But no matter what you might have missed, we have you covered.  

As an incubator for data science research, the DSI plays a leading role in highlighting and fostering collaboration across the data sciences. Our researchers and guest speakers contribute to critical, cross-disciplinary research in data science. DSI events are just one of the ways we are working to foster a data science community at the University of Toronto and beyond.

Research Day 2023

On September 27, 2023, the Data Sciences Institute Research Day, featured leading voices in data science.  The DSI Research Day #DataSciencesDay showcases the work of the DSI community and provides a forum for collaborators in academia, industry and government to connect. The day includes engaging lightning talks and discussions, networking activities and interactive panels.
